Leith MacDonald was born and raised on the Shouth Shore of Massachusetts. While earning a Printmaking BFA from UMASS Amherst, Leith made his first international trips to Europe and China. After school Leith split his time between Monhegan and Europe. Summering on the Island and supporting himself as an English teacher in Gdansk, Poland. Now he lives in Medford, Massachusetts
